Do your record racks require assembly?

Our Record Racks are shipped fully assembled.  All floor console units ship partially assembled, with legs unattached.  Instructions and hardware are provided to easily attach the legs.  The Album Stand is shipped flat, the (2) rods provided need inserted into the corresponding holes. 

How do I clean or dust the items I purchase from Divider Records?

All of our products can be cleaned with any natural cleaner and lint free cloth.  

What kind of stain do you use on your record racks and record ledges?

We use General Finishes brand stain.  Stain A is Brown Mahogany, stain B is American Oak,  stain C is Java. Each of our stains are urethane fortified and non toxic after drying.  Stain is applied to each product by hand.  Our stains are an oil based gel stain.

What if my item arrives damaged?

We try our best to package every item securely to avoid any damage incurred by the carrier’s rough handling and machine processes.  If your item arrives damaged, please send us photos of the packaging and damage to the product within 7 days of receiving.  We will exchange the item.

Do you accept custom orders?

Sometimes!  If you have detailed specifications, we’d love to review them to see if we can accommodate you.  Small changes to units, ie. leg height is an easy production detail to fulfil.  Please submit a contact form with your request.  From October-December we typically decline designing and building custom units. 

Where do you get your materials?

Our two largest vendors are Dryco Lumber of Applecreek, Ohio and Keim Lumber of Charm, Ohio.  Others include Sugarcreek Hardware, Stony Point Hardware, Mast Farm Service, RNR Enterprise and Crafted Elements.  Each vendor is locally and independently owned. 

When will my order ship?

Every order we receive is made from scratch.  MTO, if you will.  Because of this production style, we do ask for a week to several weeks before shipping, depending on the item.  Turn around times are listed in each product description.  Orders ship from our shop in Sugarcreek, Ohio.  

I'm confused. Can I call you on the phone?

Absolutely.  Our office phone number is 330-852-5210.  Hours are 9a-5p EST.

Can I use my discount on custom orders?

Nope.  Sorry!

Do you ship International?

At the moment we only ship to Canada.  When postal disruptions lessen, we will re-evaluate opening International sales.  If you are interested in an item, please fill out the contact form to see if I can accommodate you, based upon your country.

This item is a gift, I need it by a certain time.

Just ask!  We may be able to accommodate your time frame.  

Do you sell wholesale?

No.  At the moment we focus only on direct to consumer sales.
